Samsung i400 SmartPhone Review
The Samsung i400 is a highly capable Smartphone with all the business & multimedia features a user requires on the move. The handset is stylish & comes in the form of a slider phone which is highly focused on the large colour screen. The user can view the 2.3 Inch screen when the handset is in its slide open or slide closed position. The screen is large & provides a high resolution 262,000 colour display for the user to enjoy all their multimedia & business features. The Samsung i400 Smartphone comes in a sliver coloured casing which adds to a sleek looking design. The handset is easy to hold & carry which measures 15.8mm deep, 50mm wide & 101mm high. The i400 is a lightweight Symbian Smartphone which weighs a total of 92 grams. The phone comes with a rechargeable battery & MicroSD™ memory card slot which allows the user to expand their phone memory up to 4 Gbytes.
The large QVGA TFT colour screen provides the user with a perfect view finder when taking photos or recording video footage. The built in camera is a 2 megapixel camera which comes complete with highly useable camera & video settings. The user can capture & record all their memories using the built in camera feature. The Samsung i400 allows the user to capture, record, store & share all of the user's photos & video clips easily. The user can enjoy their music on the move with the built in music player which comes complete with a designated music key for easy access to the player. The music player can play all popular music formats including MP3, AAC, WAV & MIDI music formats. The handset comes with a dual speaker feature which provides high quality sound for the user to enjoy. The i400 supports both polyphonic & MP3 ringing tones which the user can easily change to suit their choice of ringing tone.
The i400 comes with the Smartphone advanced features with Symbian operating system complete with a S60 user interface. The S60 user interface comes complete with extensive language support & enhanced download applications. The user can install program which are just like PC programs onto their Samsung i400. The phone comes with a document viewer & many highly useable features that the user will expect to see on their capable Smartphone. The phone supports tri band technology which works over GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900. The built in WAP 2.0 browser provides the user with access to the World Wide Web when the user is away from their PC. The i400 comes with an instant messaging service which allows the user to have an instant message conversation containing text & symbols with contacts whom are online at the same time as the user. The instant messaging service works like an instant messaging service on the users PC but the phone instant messaging service is mobile. The multimedia message can contain a photo or video with sound & text which allows the user to share their experiences & surrounding with others using the phones built in 2 megapixel camera. The user can use the email service to communicate with their email contacts which allows the user to send & receive emails directly to the Samsung i400. The phone comes with a built in voice recording feature. The handsfree speakerphone feature allows the user to take a call over the phones speakers which leaves the user handsfree to continue to work or simply relax & chat without holding the handset.
